Our Story

Foundation(2022)

Natron was founded in the summer of 2022 with a focus on Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies. The early phase saw part-time contributions from Alex Fuhrer and Jan Fuhrer which helped Jan Lauber to finish the first projects and get the company a running start.

First Clients(2023)

Sven Gerber became the first full-time member after returning from the WorldSkills competition. Joel Häberli later joined part-time, bringing valuable development skills.

Expansion(2024)

In 2023, the team established their office space in Bern. Key additions followed: David Räz joined the management team, contributing business, product and sales experience, and Jan Fuhrer transitioned to a full-time role. In the same time the company got converted from a GmbH to a AG with the goal to develop and work on our own services. Then in July 2024 Michael Mumenthaler joined the team also as a full-time member and brought his deep knowledge of System & Platform Engineering.

Innovation(2025+)

Today, Natron consists of 10+ members & friends each with a specific focus and expertise. Based on friendship and expertise, the team works together to deliver innovative solutions.
