From in-house cluster operations to Natron's Kubernetes stack
Apps with love, a Bern app agency, handed the operation of its Kubernetes clusters to Natron and moved its container deployments onto one platform.

The situation
Apps with love builds mobile and web applications for clients from Bern. Every client app needs a backend, and the agency ran those backends on Kubernetes clusters it operated itself. The developers were also the cluster operators: upgrades, certificates, monitoring and backups happened on the side, between client deadlines.
What Natron did
We migrated the agency's workloads onto Natron's managed Kubernetes stack. Deployments run through Argo CD from the agency's Git repositories, and images are stored in Harbor. The platform base includes Cilium, cert-manager, monitoring with Grafana and Loki, and Velero backups.
Natron operates the platform: patching, Kubernetes upgrades, backups and monitoring with on-call. The agency keeps control of its applications and their deployment pipelines.
The outcome
The container deployments of all client applications run on one platform, and Natron operates it. The developers who used to maintain the clusters spend that time on client projects.
